About Castle Wars 2
Castle Wars 2 game is the exciting sequel to Castle Wars, an entertaining battle game that incorporates strategy and cards, making it unique in its genre. It includes an exciting Multiplayer mode, allowing players to play with others from all over the globe. Castle Wars 2 features five different soundtracks, three different landscapes and even more cards than its predecessor had.
The goal of Castle Wars 2 is to be the first player to build the tower to 100, or destroy the tower of their opponent. Players receive eight cards at the start of the game. The player's cards are at the bottom of the screen. To the right of the cards are three options to click. Players may choose to discard the card, play the card, or view more information about the card. At the top of the screen, players view their resources. Underneath each icon is the number of available items of that resource. Per turn, players may discard up to three cards. This is helpful for players lacking the resources to play any of their cards, or players who simply are unhappy with the hand they were dealt.
Cards that are currently unavailable to play are darker coloured than the cards that are available. The reason a card would be not playable at the time is that the player lacks the resources needed to carry out the task on the card. Atop each card is the title of the card and the cost, in resources, to the player. For example, an Archer card with a 1 and the "weapon" icon in the top requires at least one weapon in their supply. The bottom of each card carries the description of the action it performs. An Attack +4 card will cause 4 damage to the enemy tower.
There are three play modes: Campaign, Practice, and Multiplayer. In Campaign mode, players view a map with various lands depicted. These lands represent the battles, which players must engage in to win the game. Campaign mode consists of three levels of play; easy, medium, and hard, which are shown as three regions to overcome. In easy mode, players are equipped with an amply supply of resources. In medium mode, there are fewer in number, and in hard mode, the resources are scarce. Practice mode is where players engage in battle to prepare themselves for campaign mode. In Multiplayer mode, players play against others from all over the world.
The Deck Manager allows players to edit the deck for their game. By editing the deck, players can allot their preferred mix of cards. However, since the deck is passed out to both players, this does not ensure that players will receive the exact cards they desire; it only raises the probability of that happening.
Castle Wars 2 incorporates many aspects of flash games, with strategy, battle, and defence, while adding the card aspect into the mix. The game is attractive and entertaining. The Multiplayer mode is a powerful feature for players to go head to head with others thousands of miles away.
